Reflexology Lymphatic Drainage.
What is Reflexology Lymphatic Drainage?
Reflexology Lymphatic Drainage (RLD) is a specific, targeted advanced reflexology technique which focuses on stimulating the lymphatic system reflexes on the feet. The aim is to support the natural flow of lymph and circulation in the body for optimum health and wellbeing. It is a unique therapy / sequence that has been researched and developed by Sally Kay BSc (Hons) whilst working in cancer care. Her passion and drive to get this therapy recognised has led to a range of research that has shown how affective this therapy is for supporting the lymphatic system and conditions that are affected.
Lymphatic Reflex Points
In reflexology the feet correspond to different organs & systems in the body. Like normal reflexology, RLD is working in the same way but is targeted more on the circulatory and lymphatic system specifically in a sequence similar to the in Manual Lymph Drainage Massage. Starting with opening the lymph ducts, and then working on promoting healthy flow of lymph to these areas for drainage and healing.
